I used to be on Blazinlow.com. I would see Roberto, syclonekid post over there and i think bootenawd. I had an 89 blazer, always wanted a Typhoon. I wonted to do a clone, started to gather all the parts but never did it. Then a member emailed me telling me he had a complete cladding set for sell. Since then i became a good friend with him, and i been on this forum. I have had a syclone(401) and now i have a typhoon. I have meet some really cool people along the way. Now i barely go on Blazinlow.com

Was on the mailing list since '96 (IIRC) and got an e-mail from Bdubb and Potter that a forum was starting. Adam e-mailed me about 2 weeks later (sometime in July) telling me to join and I hopped on in August 2000.
8 1/2 years and I've still yet to find anyone on here that I like. :lol:

I was on s-series.org and found the Sy powered Tracker. I think Jack still owned DaveP's resurrection truck, too.

I searched threw google to find any forum and only found this one and it was loaded with info,I signed up but my account wasnt activated for 2 days then I was contacted on turboibuick.com by SY0237 and he told me about the site again and then I think he got it activated or it just started working..
With ty and sy trucks the most important thing to do is to be involved with people that have them and know whats what,ive got a ton of info here that even good mechanics didnt know...

I used to perdiodically read up on mailing list, read over SyTy.org, and search the internet for Syclone and Typhoon (probably since 95) Sometime in 2000 I did a search and found the forum. I started reading regulary Jan 2001.

got my sy back in 2006 pick it up from my boss it was my 06 -07 christmas bonus.found this site from
googleing it.didn't know much about them. i'm learning though thanks to all of you that have helped me out. so far a/c abs,deleat coilover are some of the things i done.more to come. a form is only as good as the members . and i'm very proud to belong to this form thanks guys

I was looking for another vehicle and was looking into a turbo buick but then wanted a pick up to use as a pick up. Googled turbo trucks found this site and bought my truck shortly after....
then bought a real truck and that was tough explaning to the wife how I just bought a truck but need another one to haul it around:lol:

Me: "Hey do you know what you have?"
Him: "sure do"
Me: " you want to sell it?"
Him: "no but go to this site and you'll find one and get all the info you want."
Still see him every year at woodward dream criuse.
Then somehow off the syty.org classifieds, and a meet at Dustans, I met Ken........:roll:
