Re: window motors?

I have a set already attached to the regulators. If you have ever changed this style you know you have to be careful. You can get mine for $60 for both shipped with the regulators. I will even include rivets to reinstall. This is the easiest way out. Ask anybody that has changed these. These were removed from an 89 Blazer that I bought for body parts.

I bought one from autozone, check autozone.com for price.

Pretty easy uninstall/install if you know what you're doing. Getting the factory rivits out suck but luckily the kits come with bolt/nut combinations to help make things easier in the future. Speaking of which I need to do my passenger side soon

Re: window motors?

I got some off ebay for cheap. They work good, but I really wish someone would make replacements with a faster motor. That would be a good upgrade.

Re: window motors?

Quick question...My passenger side window will only move about 3 inches up or down, then it will start clicking. Do you think its the motor or do you think its something else. I know...I need to just take the panel off and look at it lol.

Re: window motors?

i actually got some reman'd units from napa for 56dollars for the pair of them. i got 18 bucks back for each one of my core's and the good part is there is a 1 year warranty. The guys that built my motor are going to install them for 150 bucks total for both sides.

Re: window motors?

Don't know if it has already been mentioned, but DO NOT forget to drill a hole through the window lift bracket and get a bolt through it. If you don't, that spring is gonna get medieval on your ass. Once you do that it's a piece of cake. Don't forget the grease.

Re: window motors?

Been awhile since I posted a link to Ed's how to on this. Looks like he took his pics down. Part numbers and the locations of the door retainers can be found in my window guide replacement how to here.
