I ordered the kit a few weeks ago and I quickly started removing all I needed to complete the mod. I worked on it in-between customer jobs and sales. Maybe an hour or two a day for a few weeks.

While I had the TY in the bay I did a few more things other than the intake.

I changed all the fluids.
Installed a Air/Fuel ratio gauge.
Installed a Trans fluid cooler where the old Intercooler radiator was.
Installed some new fog lights.
Removed old fan and installed 2 electric fans, one is controlled by the ECM and the other by an external controller.
Replaced the heater core.
Made an engine brace out of a nylon strap/ratchet. Will work for now.
and gave it a good ole detail.

I forgot to mention that I also installed a NEW harmonic balancer.

Here is the pics..

Here is a pic of the engine bay. Im not too crazy about the blue silicone hoses and the cheap clamps but I can get me some better ones later.

TURBO clocked.

The battery I did NOT have to relocate. I did remove the radiator overflow bottle. The filter sits right below the battery.

My new TRANS cooler. I routed the fluid trough the radiator first then trough this cooler.

And here is the boo boo I went and done did. I didnt think of the hood latch coming low enough to make contact. No biggie Its hidden below the latch :)

looks good man but is there any additional lag with all that added piping?
Do you have plans to heat wrack any of that piping?

Looks like a pretty clean install. Was their much cutting involved?

That's going to suck when you need to change out the dist cap/rotor. :2cents:

I didnt notice any lag..
I dont think I will use any heat wrapping, but we will see how it behaves this summer.

I did have to cut quite abit of the radiator support but I made sure I re-inforced it where I could. I feel its still as strong as original or bester.

No, not really, I already had to remove it several times and it doesnt take much time or effort. Besides, how often do you replace the dist cap? Every year, maybe?

I did forget to ad that I replaced the Harmonic Balancer to my list on the top.. The old one had spun.
