Autocrossed my Ty this weekend.

Wow, all I can say is I'm hooked. Oh, and I need better something to control body roll. I have an aftermarket sway bar on rear and stock Bilstiens, and 2in lower than stock. Any ideas, without the costly front control arm coilover kits?

Do strut bars help? Front and rear?

Re: Autocrossed my Ty this weekend.

Where do you plan to attach the strut bar? To the struts? Good luck finding the struts to attach to it.

Strut bars or whatever you want to call them are used in uni-body cars to help support the body from flexing. Our trucks are not uni-body.

Now you could box the frame, add a 12 pt cage. But none of those will stop body roll per se.

I thought I was missing something there.......Yeah, I cant think of any full frame autos with struts.

coil-overs aren't costly and they will make the most difference.

QA1s hands down have made the biggest/best handling difference.

Also I reccommend a 12:1 steering box, and QA1 Shocks in the rear.

The only solution to correcting body roll are using the correct ant-roll bars front/rear and increasing spring rates/shock dampening and reducing polar momentum.

I am going to try to work "polar momentum" into a conversation at work.

I do like my adjustable QA1/coilovers on the Sy.
