Re: problem with water pump

is it a new radiator or the old one? Have you got some blanks in the radiator tubes like when it comes from the factory all sealed up or anything?

it's a new one and every thing has been checked before installed
as some of the guys said its maybe the heads gaskets

Re: problem with water pump

I vote for intake gasket problem. The water pump should pump water no matter what even if it is reversed. It takes a long time to build up enough gunk in the cooling system to completely stop the flow. You may be able to push a piece of stiff wire through the thermostat hole to verify the ports are not plugged. Then you wouldn't have to take the intake off - maybe a small mirror into the intake??? Is there coolant coming up through the intake when you remove the thermostat housing?

today we check again and i think we should remove the cylinder heads

when i start the engine i give 5 min the temperature gauge reach the 125 (full) i feel sad for the engine coz also today i take another opinion from another mechanic he told me it has a thermostat and the engine releasing presser into the radiator:tdown:

Re: problem with water pump

I would have been nice if the belt was on so we could see if, in fact, it was installed correctly.

Re: problem with water pump

if the head gasket is gone, wouldn't it hydro lock? how doees that happen? Or is that a cracked head rather than a head gasket?

I don't think anyone can can get a VISA to Kuwait unless it is business. I was actually there in September and was only 80km from Kuwait city and my commanders wouldn't let me off the camp - that was gay. I still feel bad I couldn't make it :(

I might move to Dubai though

I've see you guys drive fast.. :O I grew up in Saudi Arabia. That was....interesting......

i understand that but your engine doesn't when you let your turbo open like that.

you also need to kick your mechanic in the balls. you need to do a headgasket leak test before you take it apart.. and if all the fluid was inside the engine, you for sure would have been able to see it. either your engine working like a pump. or have water in oil or have oil in water.
what if you flush the system? put water in rad. without thermostat and leave the upper hose off and block that port on the rad?
