Just bought Ultimate Chip

I just bought an Ultimate chip (gauge style w/ knock indicator light) from another member and cant wait til it arrives!!! My trucks all stock and its for stock injectors, heads, and turbo... Any advice or thoughts from anyone w/ this chip? Thanx.

Yes sir... Just need to get a 3 bar map sensor

Already has AFPR... Next on list datamaster and hopelly wideband. Im new to this whole tuning thing so I need some input

upgrade the fuel pump. Make sure your truck is running right stock first before adding any mods, I would learn more about tuning before installing the chip.

Thanx. Forgot I do already got a Walbro 255 and new sending unit I put in a lil while ago Truck has slight miss but Ill get er figured out before I install the chip.

make sure you data log your truck before the install so you can be certain that there's no detonation.. because the ultimate has more aggressive timing curves so if you have a problem prior to the install... the install with just magnify the problem and with these trucks detonation will kill engines and it's not like other cars where if you hear detonation back off the throttle or throw better grade fuel in. If you can actually hear detonation on you sy then you have major issues.

So yeah data log.. if you don't have the ability then post or ask around for a fellow syty owner who can and see if they can help you out
