Looks like they messed up and put the engine on top of the hood instead of under it...

The AWD part is pretty cool...

What's the black box thing strapped to the top of the engine? A cooler for the intake?

Thats the supercharger. I think its wrapped in a protective thing so if it blows up, it doesnt fly everywhere and kill people.

Looks like the record for the Outlaw 10.5 class is 4.183 @ 184.85 MPH, which is moving pretty fast. Not sure what that equates to as a 1/4 mile pass. Anybody know? All the 1/8 to 1/4 mile conversion charts I've found don't go below 5 seconds in the 1/8th.
