goodwrench 4l80E quick help

hello, i can buy a new/rebuilded goodwrench 4l80e from 2007 a 4wd and a 2wd transmission for 1k each. with tc. should i score on of them or do you think it's overpriced since i have to upgrade some stuff in it anyway?

I would say go for it that is pritty cheap for a new goodwrench trans usually like 2800 :tup:

just make sure you order all the internals BEFORE this weekend- no need no cannibalising my truck ya hear :rotf:

thats a little much but knowing everything would be good to go makes it worth it if you have the money . i wouldnt pick up both and your not gonna use the conv anyway . get the 2wd one swap the output shaft and short lever and slam it in .ya done yet ?

ok, i offered the guy 800.- say he could keep the tc.
no need to upgrade the transmission? only the outputshaft and rock and roll?

If you had yhe 32 sline input shaft in your transfer case, get the 2 wd, pull the tailshaft housing, if it is splined all the way up, put on the tc adapter for the 80e,(RPM) put on the tc adaper, mark a straight line accross the shaft, and cut the output shaft off, you allready have the rear reluctor and sensor, change out the short shifter shaft, pick up a torque coverter and your good to go. my transmission is a 06 and it had the long slined shaft!! the 32 spline transfer case shaft is no longer available, GBlake item.
