Gas tank venting..

Has anyone changed the location of where the tank vents too? Stock it goes up back into the engine bay and into the charcoal canister.

I know there's a bunch that have ditched the canister, I know mine's gone. But did you reroute the vent anywhere else? Say to the back of the truck rather then just leaving it in the engine bay?

I was thinking just running it back after the rear end with maybe a small filter on the end of it..

Re: Gas tank venting..

Do you have any type of filter on it after ditching the canister? Or are you just venting into the engine bay?

Mike, my canisters been gone for a while. I pulled the tank tonight in plans to go completely braided and rememberd its still open to the engine bay. Figured itd be safer at least going to the back of the truck rather then back into the engine bay without a canister or filter of some type..
