Re: Flat Black fans?

Not bad :). For a subtle look however, I like a brushed finish:

I would consider black for a true sleeper though...

i know alot of guys like the chrome look under the hood. Would anyone think all black chrome under the hood would like good? not to hijack thread at all, but would anyone think if yor running sheetmetal intake billet fuel rails. all the intercooler piping, the turbo compressor housing and even the sheetmetal valve covers and edelbrock lower intake manifold all done in black chrome

Thanks :)! I wouldn't have spent 40 hours sanding if I wasn't going to buff it for my "how to" write up that I did three years ago:

The owner who donated his intake for me to do my write up wanted a brushed finish so that is what he got:

It took less than five minutes to put that finish on his intake after I buffed about half of it. So it wouldn't take very long to get a brushed finish since it wouldn't have to look like a mirror afterwards. I called him *several* times to be sure that's what he wanted before I wiped out several hours worth of buffing...

If ya know how to spray it does, BTW powder is just paint dried up and resprayed

Powder is not just paint that is dried up and resprayed.

If you think any spray paint is as durable as powder, try painting grill parts that will be on the front of the car. I've seen spray painted parts not last 2 weeks being at the front of the car, while powder takes a beating and keeps on going.
