so these bullcrap dorman shifter cables keep breaking on me.... The metal loop that connects to thee floor shifer in the cab is made out of some cheapo aluminum and this is the 2nd one to snap...all thats left is a little e-clip.... i had to use pliers to pull the shifter cable manually into D to get to the shop....
I noticed a boat load of sytys beaing parted out, i really need an OEM shifter cable...or i would lve to have george blake's heavy duty cable... ever since the propshaft destroyed my oem cable and the bracket... i had a new bracket installed but these dorman cables never made the cut... it was hard as hell to shift in and out of park too... you would need to put too much effort into going from d to OD so boost launches could be scary...you could esily pop straight into N bc u had to push so hard....
just a shifter cable would be fine... if there are any brackets or assemblies with it go ahead and let me know how much that would cost too....
price is important...as im a litttle bit broke....bc of the syty lol...shifter cables broke...center console is broke.... rear end damage from the crash still... pretty much blown motor... (and im still not partin it out... some people will part out a syty bc it needs new tires it scares me...one day there will be no parts left)
so anyway...the main point is... shifter cable (not tv cable) OEM or GBlake... please I need this soon so i can get it to the shop to be fixed and painted finally from the insurance...
