Just made these up yesterday. 100% carbon fiber door vent block off plates. Im thinkin $25 shipped per set for syty members to the lower 48. Something different and trick. Let me know if any of you are interested. I can make more. Robb
Oh, by the way for those trucks on a diet, these weigh .7oz each vs 2.4 oz for the factory vents.

Don't those door vents have a function?, i thought they released the pressure from the cab when shuting the door? yours look to be solid block off plates defeating this purpose

My door (s) shut fine without the vents, no problems. On the older vehicles, there were many other ways for air to escape with or without vents. I just thought some of you might like them.

In a Typhoon this isn't such an issue (considering the real estate inside that would need pressurizing), but this could make shutting Syclone doors harder for sure as you can pressurize the regular cab quite easily.

Agree w/ hood, I'd actually look for something to punch more air holes so I don't have to slam my doors on the Sy, though I have no idea how blocking the door vents would affect it's current condition.

Also got some better pics now. I took the originals this morning and the sunlight reflecting was blinding the camera. Its near impossible to get good pics of this stuff without either the sun reflecting, or surrounding items. Also im not including the chrome self tappers. It would actually cost about $4 more to ship because the screws would poke out of the padded envelope. Im trying to keep the cost to a minimum for you guys. they look cool as hell, but why not just use the oem screws from your old vents though

You can, i just wanted to see what chrome screws looked like. Black would be cool too. either way.

i think maybe a nice scuff in a glass bead cabinet and some semi gloss black would look good on the oem screws, not stand out but not be unseen, would kinda go with the darker look that CF adds, along with the blackish screws the rest of the trucks used.

although the chrome screws might draw more attention down to them which is good since most people would never really look in that general direction, thus never even noticing the sweet vent covers.

s_blazin: Thanks for the props, much appreciated. I moved up to k-falls from las vegas a few months back, let me know if theres any car shows etc. you arent too far away from me now. Always cool to meet people with similar interests.

yea man i wouldn't mind meeting another syty'er. my truck isn't running yet, hope to get it done soon so i can take advantage of this awesome weather we're having while it lasts.

Ok, i was just double checking out the panels after they are installed. Since i did not silicone them to the body or put any kind of foam sealant on the back side, they do not fully "seal" against the body thus allowing air to escape as the door closes. Just some food for thought. Robb
