I am putting a lower hose and some other sruff on my truck and got a hose from Napa and Orielys to day and niether on look the same as the one that is on the truck. the factory one has a good size kick out to help clear turbo/wastegate.

My question is what are you guys doing lower radiator hose.

And I have access to about 8 or 10 gm hoses would there be any intrest in that I am guessing around 40 buck shipped ( If there is this can get moved to GP but I thought I would feel it out before :tup:)

Not to hijack the thread...

I have a resource that would be able to reproduce the lower hoses. I would need to get one to send over to him to measure and figure out what cost would be along with what the minimum order would have to be.

If there is interest in doing that and someone wants to send a hose to me to get the info, I'll look into it what the costs would be, etc. BTW, this would be very high quality stuff.

You can have mine if you want I will ship it you ya I have a GM hose coming I need to have a running truck next week :tup:

I think we found it in Dayco also, Richard Le will have the number as he got a napa brand, and my dad who works on a parts store part time was able to cross it over to a hose he had in stock in the store.

It not in book/computer though.

Yeah, use either NAPA 8723 or Dayco 71723. Don't forget to transfer the internal coil spring from the old hose over to the new hose to prevent it from collapsing.

Do you have the part number. The one I have shows inactive and GM shows no enventory the only place I found it was vintage parts(or something like that)and they only had 8 or 10 I cant remeber

here is the napa hose I have fit is horrible that kick out make the turbo/wasegate clearance alot better.

When we replaced Richards lower hose 2 months ago with the napa it was identical to stock, the dayco part # he listed appeared to be also.

they are from vintage but one of the vintage warehouses is in lansing michigan like 20 minutes from my house
