8 years strong

SYO237

SyTy Registry
Today, July 5 marks 8 years of owning Sy 237, and about 9 years or more being around SyTy and a member.

In those 8 years ive made countless friends across the US and Europe, coordinated events, learned way to much about general SyTy, have made jokes.....and been the joke, helped more people find parts and answer syty related emails that I can even remember, piss alot of people off over numerous things, and lost count of how much money ive wasted and burned on both my truck and syty related items.

Thank you to those who have motivated me throughout these years, taken the time to teach me when I didnt know, and who have helped with my questions or problems.

Special thanks goes to the FAST crew and of course Gary Shanock and Ian Turgeon. Those 2 have always been there for me and always willing to lend a helping hand no matter the time and place.

I look forward to having more years ahead with my truck(s).

Here I am 8 years earlier after recieving the keys to what has become a very interesting, expensive and worthwhile hobby. (damn, i was skinny)

Man you have 2 months of ownership on me, damn you.

Can you go take a 2 month vacation?

Does having multiple trucks at your house at one time count for double, triple, quadruple (yes I have had 4 here at once).

Damn I totally forgot my ownership b-day this year. March 28th made it 8 years for me as well, and about 10 since I first joined the mailing list. I won't forget next year...It will be a whole new truck all over again...

I'm coming up on 2 years later this month. And I've put a whopping 4,500 miles on it.

November will be 8 yrs myself. Looks like the 1998 crowd (Adam, Jeff, myself, etc...) is the cool crowd.

We need class shirts. Adam could be the class clown (unless Bdubb bought his in '98) and Jeff, you could be the guy who was always good in shop class (you know, the one that made his own grill guard and could get a lawnmower from the Wonder Years back running.) But, what would I be? Oh yeah, that's right, the good looking guy that got all the girls. Duh! ;)

I am still wondering if we have graduated. We may want the shirts to have syty class of 98, 99, 00, etc with each year marked off and

"Hopefully Next Year" on the bottom.

Your theory there hood is faulty, how many hot chicks you seen hanging around at nats.......very few aside from Renz

You all are "pups." ;-)

We are the original owners of our 1992 Typhoon.
I cant remember when I bought my Sy at the moment but I think I have owned it for 9 or 10 years.

May 10, 1998 I brought my first Syclone home. Seems longer than that, it's hard for me to remember not having at least one in the garage.

Did you buy the syclone because the walker was too hard to fit in back of typhoon?
