Ok pass' with ty today opinions PLEASE

Well i went to the track today and i dont know if i should be upset or happy with the trucks performace. i would say it was low 80's temperature wise low humidity

First run. Hot from driving there
1.795 60ft
8.438 @80.54 mph 1/8th
13.38 @99.30 mph 1/4
All on t118 which on my chip is street, lean at wide open throttle
14psi boost, 8 psi launch

second pass
1.813 60ft
8.42 @80.37 mph 1/8th
13.344 @99.60 mph 1/4
t118 10psi launch (tire spin) 17psi boost

third pass
1.770 60ft
8.40 @80.27 mph 18th
13.348 @98.95 mph 1/4
t118 6psi launch, 27psi in rear tires, 17psi boost but it faded at the topend
and the 4th and 5th pass the same.

All my passes have 0 knock and im running 93octane with NO ALKY or crap like it. The setting i was using is STREET low timing, and i have the fuel pressure at 42lbs w/ vac off.... I think the truck may need more fuel it feels like its laying down upstairs and the boost drops more then it should in the middle of third gear to the finish line, maybe thats why toward the end of the day it was loosing 1 or 2 mph i think.

my setup..... 3810lb with driver
Unported Vortec's with 2.02/1.6's, custom grind cam .450 lift, .060 over bottom end (previous owner blew it up bad i guess) the usuallys inside, 3200 stall converter, Stock turbo, KB A-2-A, 50's (running at 56% duty cycle), external wastegate on cross over.

Now before the LINCH MOB hangs me for having all those parts and a slow truck, i have an excuse/reason.... almost all those parts because they came with the truck when i bought. i know i dont need the 50's and the a-2-a but it was installed when i got it and i wasnt going to buy stock injectors and cooler if i have them already (i have been thinking about unsing a stock w-2-a intercooler but its just a thought).

The only things ive upgraded to are__ converter-the stocker was dead, turbo-the one it came with was bad, the heads-it had brodix heads that needed repair they were leaking so i sold them and used the vortec's i got for free. my chip is a 10-1 setup for L35's/Vortec's mild port, .500 lift cam- the truck had a stand alone that was ridiculus to work with. (i know i know custom chips are the way to go but no money and no one ive found can really help)

But what do you guys think? Junk or am i on the right path?

It is a baseline and the start to good tuning if you want.

Zero knock tells me you can get more agressive on the timing. Seat of pants is not good indicator of fuel, do you have a wideband?

I try to help everybody here as much as possible.

It is easier to answer specific questions -vs- general.

"How do I make my truck faster?" Has a lot of answers, one includes pushing it off a cliff.

"I just installed a wb, and under boost my AFR is 11.6, is this too rich?" is a good specific question that can be answered easier.

From looking at your ET/MPH I don't think your truck is laying down upstairs. Its probably more of the AWD sucking up power compare to the 2wd truck you had), your ET/MPH is what a good running Syclone runs.. From a tune perspective an L35 ultimate is going to be quite a bit different than what you have considering the Cam and Vortec heads. With the Vortec heads it should be able to take more timing. To me, its look like a good baseline to start with.

I agree with Dave.....Everybody plays the ET game, but MPH tells the real story. And 99 mph indicates that you weren't making a great deal of power on that pass (stockish power to be exact.) You said that the chip was for L35s/Vortecs, right? What timing do you see throughout the driving range (idle all the way up to full throttle)? As has been mentioned, Vortecs can take a good bit more timing than LB4s or L35s, so if the chip was burnt with L35s in mind, it could be that you are grossly down on timing (resulting in the 0 knock, but relatively slow times.)

well the paper work with the chip says L35's/Vortec's. but today i have a small exhaust leak on the cross over im going to fix and i finished making a aldl cabel this morning im going to hook up a datamaster and change the timing setting on the chip to make sure theres no knock (i was using a SnapOn scanner yesturday) when driving to work i took the truck out the street-lean setting and it felt different i have to see what the o2 reading are. i had it in the lean setting because at first it was missing at WOT and there was black smoke changing to the lean setting it stopped and the o2 reading were good. if have to see........ from the sounds of it i have ALOT of tuning to do. THANKS EVERYONE

iight cool, i was (probably one of) the kid wearing racing pants who walked over and took a look under the hood when you had it open before one of your runs (probably after your first run). I didnt get a chance to see any of your runs because I was busy getting ready for mine...and without knowing too much, I guess they look pretty good.
