I've got the same crap... I don't really mind it, but some of it is pretty scratched up and the numbnuts that had the Ty before me tried removing and and now some of it is halfway off. He also broke the tabs on the passenger side window lever so now it hangs loose:

What did you do to remove it and get the dash so clean of residue after?

Re: unpimp ze auto

After spending way too much time taking that crap out, here is the best plan that I can come up with.

1. Get a guitar string and edge it under the woodgrain, then work it down as if you are cutting cheese.

2. Spend way too much time with your fingernails trying to get the adhesive off.

3. Contact me with your mailing adress. I work for a magnaflux distributor. With a bottle of SKC-S and some shop rags, you can remove all of the residual adhesive in no time. Or, leave me out of the loop completely and go get some denatured alchohol. It will remove the gunk and leave all of the dye that we would like to look at.

holy crap, is anyone else this drund?

EDIT: My wife says that I am the only one that is this drunk and also reminded me that I need to dot her eyes for making the passenger floorboard so dirty.

What did you do w/ the panels? There's a dude who lives near me (in SC) that would love to have that stuff. He's the Fuzzy Dice kinda guy w/ 4 sets of fog lights on his S-10..

It is a big sticky wad of crap stuck to the inside of my trash can. I was only able to get the door panels without breakage.

If he's pretty crafty, I can squish it all together and throw it in the mail, but I wouldn't expect much success.

I just figured I'd ask.

BTW, the truck looks 100% better w/o all that crap. What were they thinking???

I wish I knew.... It just doesn't look good at all. And I'm stuck with it for now.... Add another project to my list of stuff to do to my truck

Re: unpimp ze auto

The guy who had my TY before me put in the same stuff but in carbon fiber, I am not a big fan of the "Race look" but it looked all right, so I left it. :2cents: Sorry bout the dirty floor :D
