oil return line for PTE turbo

anyone know where I can buy an oil return line (flexible stainless steel hose) for a PTE turbo? I am installing an A2A intercooler and wish to 'clock' my turbo and the stock hardline will not work.

eh?

Im using the stock return on my clcoked PTE52 with RPM A2A. I had to turn the center section just slightly off the 12 o'clock postion (11:58ish :) ), nothing that would cause issue.


Though, like mentioned... RPM, TurboTime, or you can build your own.

i got mine and 2 fittings from napa. its all aeroquip and i bet i paid half of what those guys did.

The flange at the turbo drain looks to be the only oddball part.

Not sure if Napa is gonna have that one.

I would be interested in a parts list as well. :tup:

RPM sells just the flange for $23 last i knew. ITS makes the flange, and sells it direct for $23 also.

the aeroquip fittings were natural aluminum so i just welded one to a flange that i made (its pretty simple). as for a parts list i have no idea. i just went to the store, looked in their book and picked out what i wanted. it arrived the next day.

FYI, the following is a parts list and Aeroquip pricing from Summit Racing:

(2) 10an hose ends $9.88ea.
(1) 45 deg 10an- 1/2npt adaptor $15.95
(1) STR 10an - 1/2 npt $6.95
(2) Ft. Braided line (but i think 3 ft is the smallest length you can buy) $19.88

Then you need a drain flange. Say $23 + Gasket $2.

Total $87.54 + shipping from 2 companies and you still need to measure, cut and assemble everything.

We sell em PRE - assembled for $85.. I dont think anyone is getting ripped off at $85 for something that is pressure tested for leaks, and is made to fit properly..

Sure you can do it yourself, but dont plan on saving alot if any..

you forgot about summits $14 handling fee. the local automotive shops will be able to smoke summit's prices and they aren't limited by a minimum length. about the only thing i would buy from them is msd stuff.
