Brand new C6 at the strip

Saw my brother in law at the 1/8th mile strip in his girl's brand new paper tag in the back window C6.
He is the track champ with his bad ass Nova that runs 9's in the 1/4.

I got him on the tree by .2 and ran a 8.05 (15 lbs boost) to his 8.5 :tup:

6 or seven cars on him. Sweet.

Bring that bad boy back up, or met us at BG in next week or two. We can get some of that ET down so you can suprise him again.

ohh, cool. i'm sure your truck will be well into the 11s when setup properly.

It was kind of comical....as I stood on the sidelines and watched this massacre unfold, a group of bystanders beside me in discussion said, "Dang, that truck must have a super hopped up V8" to which a girl replied, "Nah, the guy in the vette is just pampering the car on purpose.....he could smoke the truck if he really tried". Another guy said it sounded like the Jimmy had a serious pressure leak (it did; properly referred to as a BOV). At the 60' mark, Jimmy already had 3 car lengths on him. The REAL racers were awed.....way to represent, Big Daddy!!

Great kill Jimmy :cool:! Everytime I go the the track, everything I line up against is faster than me :(. Hope to change that next year...
