Six-is-Enough
Use to do a little Boost
Whew just got back from Tri-State raceway in Cicncy. It was an adventure just getting there. Stories and Videos to follow shortly. Wow truck ran like a champ today. 1st pass it let lose a moonshot of a run. 11.943@ 111.09. This was into a 4-5 mph crossing headwind. Followed this up with passes of 11.98 and 11.99. No flukes here!!!
Here is the incrementals:
60' - 1.653
330 '- 4.830
660' - 7.545 @ 89.99
1000' - 9.919
1/4 - 11.943 @ 111.09
The weather was in the 50's and very sunny. A perfect day for racing. The only changes to my truck from passes @ Nationals was a couple of degrees of timing and a couple psi of boost. Boost peaked at 27psi. Makes me cringe every time I think about it. We also mixed in a few gallons of Turbo Blue for safety.
Launch on the fastest run was at 17 psi with a little tire spin in the front. I am still losing time here but every change we made to launch resulted in a slower short time. Always some where to improve!
