help from Minigate owners **resolved**

I was told from a reliable source that the threaded hole on the top of the housing was 1/8 NPT.
I carefully ATTEMPTED to screw in a 90* 1/8 NPT elbow and it wouldnt even take the first thread...
and now I suspect its a fine thread to accept the hollow bolt and banjo fitting and not
a tapered pipe thread at all.

turns out the fitting i tried using was not NPT ! it was metric pipe ?
oh well lol
