For the no pully way you have to run a water pump that spins the opsite direction and then make an adjuster out of angle iron. Well atleast thats how I did it.

What do you mean by adjuster?

And where did you happen to find a reverse spinning wp?

small block chevy pumps that use a V-belt spin the other way. Serp belt pumps are reverse rotation. You can use your stock pump and all. I did and will get some pics for you later tonight.

Re: What car is this AC delete pulley from?

try gm part number 10044867 for a pulley similar to that. That part number is a for a 2.8/3.1 delete pulley

Yeah mine doesnt have a pulley at all. One of the best thigns Ive done yet. Though I ripped the idea off of JER's Phoon who bought it from MOTORMOUTH. Still, love it to death, I wouldnt dream of having a pulley there.

What are the pro's and con's of not having a pulley? Seems you love it to death, but tell us why.

Re: What car is this AC delete pulley from?

Only issues I see with not having a tensoner pulley at all would be replacing the belt and is that belt really making enough contact with the waterpump?

I cant think of a con. Basically it frees up so much damn space and looks so much cleaner. Its one less part to fail, about 30lbs off the nose, and again, just looks great. The only thing I have left to get rid of to complete my engine bay gutting, is the brake booster and the W2A IC. After that I will be satisfied. Itll probably be a year or so though til I get all that done. Guess I saved the most expensive part for last.

The brake booster? Why are you taking that out, are you going with a different setup?

Re: What car is this AC delete pulley from?

all you need is a shorter belt and then a small brakcet with a slot to make the alt your adjustment point

the brakcet goes between the alt and the bracekt at the left bolt hole.

i know about v8 s10 guys running that setup and yes there is little water pump wrapage, but it colls there healthy 355's just fine
