Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that showed up to Cinzetti's for dinner. :tup: One of these days we'll get something set up during the daytime when it's warm out. :lol:

Sorry we didn't get to say hi Dig, but thanks for coming. :tup:

I had a good time as well. Sorry if I was hogging DIG. I needed some major tuning advice and that was the main reason I went up there. Hope Im not the one who scared him off, poor guy barely ate anything. It was good to see a few people there, wish we wouldve had more time.

Upon further review of the pics, i seen Dabney getting into the blue miata... somehow it doesn't shock me.

Look forward to seeing another meet like that in the area, I am new to the syty world and look forward to meeting new people and talking some smack..... Hopfully have my motor put together in the next cople of weeks and will be able to drive my new toy to see you all..

So did anybody race the Miata??? I want to stick 302 in my Miata and race it at local track called Sumit Point. At the track I here there is some V8 miatas racing all the time with like 400 to 500 hp and they are being called Supper Maitas.

They are still working out the kinks with the Miata. They are running a Camaro computer and still getting it dialed in. They took it to Bandi just for fun after they got the motor in and running and it ran 12.9 on street tires. Sam said he was spinning the tires until 90mph :rotf: :rotf: Slicks should be into the 11's after it's dialed in.

As far as we know, it's the first completed LS6 into a 1st Gen Miata. Ford Thunderbird (New 02-06 not sure exactly what year) rear end. It's pretty clean considering the space they had to work with. :lol: I wish it would have been daylight, but hey, I got some pics anyway.

Scott (sy1530) You're in Nunn? I'm in Greeley :tup: I may be having a wrencher in November if we can sneak some good weather in. You're welcome to come up if you're available. Hopefully I can drag Aaron away from his new lift. :lol:

I just got the lift in the garage. It is not hooked up or anything yet. The fun part was trying to remember geomety since i thought it would hit the roof when I stood it back up!

After calling my dad (the engineer) and another friend we determined that it would clear by about an inch. luckily it did! Now I need to move it around and get it bolted down!

Get a good date and I will make it happen. Timing was just bad with this last meet...

Sorry I didn't make it out to your place, I actually did get to Greeley. I had to haul the gifts from the wedding I was out there for... the newlyweds live in Greeley.

It was 5:30 by the time I got done, so I had to hustle to get to Northglenn.

Good to see ya'll there. It's actually nice to be able to talk truck stuff. (And chemistry, and combustion chamber issues :) I don't get a lot of opportunities up here.

Wish I had had more time, be we needed to hit the road before it got too late. Next time I'm out there, I'll try to get a full day to shoot the bull.
