C6 ZO6 wheel spacer question

Guys, I just bought a set of 4 C6 ZO6 wheels that measure 17X9.5 and have a 54mm backspacing. I have read through the wheel forums and know that the stock wheel had a backspacing of 41mm on the front and 13 on the rear. Can anyone tell me what size spacers I will need to get the new wheels where the stocks wheels were? Is it as simple as 54mm (new backspacing) minus 41mm (stock backspacing) = 13 mm (spacer size) for the front and 54mm(new backspacing) minus 13mm(stock backspacing) = 41mm (spacer size) for the rear? Your input is appreciated.

You won't need spacers in the front. You'll be good with 1.25" spacers in the rear. I'm running them on my truck. We also sell them. They're billet, pretty nice pieces, for $60/pair.

Really? hmmm....

I have a set of four C5 front wagon wheel 17"s on my truck. Still think I need 1.25"?

I found this for yah, it basically lists all the corvette wheels that would be important to a SyTy. If i'm reading this correctly your wheels are a 56mm offset. So pretty standard.

Can someone save this link and put it near the top of the wheel forum so people will have all the offsets and back spacing for any vette wheel they want?

seriously guys...measure!

jack the rearend up so that the truck weight is just slightly off the rear tires. remove the wheel and position it where you want it to sit. find a way to measure between the mounting flange of the wheel and the hub. if you have a wheel that's not 'open' enough to measure with a ruler, stick some playdoh or sillyputty between the two and measure that. the measurement doesn't have to be exact. be conservative with you measurement as you don't want the spacer to put your tires into your COSTLY cladding :)

Sounds like a smart idea. I dont have cladding, or even shocks or springs yet for that matter lol... I just figure I should have the rear wheels sit about even with the front wheels. As you all know the front wheels stick out quite a bit and the rear wheels sit in quite a bit. Its a little goofy looking.
