Use to do a little Boost
Went to the local 1/8 mile track today to test some things for next year. After the track was done for the day getting ready to head out this guy with an impala SS walks up and says that my truck is fast from a stop but his impy would pull me up top. WTF, no respect. I ask him if he wants to find out? :lol:
Well heading out of the track to the interstate is a 4 lane highway. We have a go at it from a 30-40ish roll. Total ass whumpin. 4-5 lengths by 70. We catch a stop light (with cars in front of us.:rant: ) guy rolls down his window and says that a low roll plays right in to my hands, but a high speed roll his LT1 could take me. Some people never learn!
Get up on the intersate find a nice clear stretch and we go from an 80 mph roll......Well by now he has got me fired up a little so I stay in it for awhile to 120 mph. All I can say is that it was UUUUUGGGGGGLLLLLLLLYYYYYY!!! 15- 20 lengths. Guy rolls up beside me, after he finally catches up, Mouth agape, "holy shit that thing is fast" is all he says.
Not the best kill but chalk another one up for the little black trucks.:turbo:
