hey, pete.

cutting my support today and was wondering how you got around the charcoal canister as one side of the strap screws into the support i'm cutting through? did you relocate it? if so i have plenty of spots to relocate that thing. TIA.

I just took the whole charcoal canister off, its not needed. IF you want to keep it then ya just relocated it.

oh, then did you plug the vacuum port on the tb and the vent line from the tank?

what did you do to mount the bottom bungs to the support or is it only supported from the top?

i think i will put a little filter on it so it can still breath and not create to much pressure in the tank.

so what is the psi drop for such a large IC? did it affect spool time? i am looking at serveral A2A setups right now and may want to go this route as opposed to spend $1k-1.5k for a pre made one.\

Where did you get the tubing and connectors, the IC, and how are you keeping it from blowing off the throttle body under lots of boost?

Branden, just toss the canister and cut the line off back by the tank or do what Ken said.
You could cut the tube off the T/B and weld it up, that what I'm gonna do along with cutting off the the cooland hookups.

pete, the link you put up in the other intercooler thread i started for the piping, is that what you used exactly? i'm going to route my piping just like yours. how is the performance so far?

yes, thats the piping I used.

I drove the Ty today but the shifter linkage broke so right now I only have reverse :angry:

What did you use to paint both engine accessory brackets with ?

? you mean the brackets that hold the waterpump and AC?

I powdercoated them myself gloss black.

Yes , I like what it looks like in the pics .I think it improves the overall look of the front of the motor .
