I see that some people are in a usergroup with a glowing username who are allowed topost attachments.

Who are these users?
What makes them special?
How do we become special as well?

Can I recommend a link at the top of the site? Maybe a list of what perks you get?

vBulletin allows paypal subscription payments to go through the board and it will automaticly add subscribors to the usergroup therefore automaticly giving the user the set permissions. Its a nice feature.

That would be nice. It's been about a year since I donated, and I'm still not a "donating member".

I think Morgan is an admin.

MRKING isn't even a mod. How would he have anything to do with donations, etc?

I just figured that a site admin might come in and regularly check out a forum called , "Site News (New hacks or bug reports)"

I saw this thread when it first got started, the question had been answered, I havent had time to revisit it since.

Its been posted MANY TIMES in multiple threads that if you sent money to donate @ syty.net or whatever the e-mail is, it could take some time to get your donating status changed. If you sent it to me directly, it your status was changed as soon and I received payment. I do not have any control over the paypal account for the site, Keith was supposed to send me an updated list a while back, but no dice.

Timbo, Im sorry, but if you donated via PayPal over a year ago, then your status would have been updated. Perhaps you are one of the few who decided to use an e-mail account not linked to your syty.net account and didnt bother leaving a note stating who you were? If you think you were somehow overlooked, then please send me the PayPal invoice over PM and I will verify it with my records, if I have nothing then Ill foward it to Keith.

Everyone who has sent payment since February 25th 2006 has had their status upgraded.

anyway, Ill say it again for those who obviously cannot read a thread longer than 3 pages, IF YOU SENT MONEY TO SYTY.NET, THEN PM ME WITH THE INVOICE NUMBER, NAME, E-MAIL, ECT!!!!

Sorry, never have been to a site where the mods and admins keep thier status hidden. most have a title under thier name, a note in thier signature, or even a rank posted inder thier title... anyway...
