I had a problem passing mine last time also.
It to, was running great.
I bought a can of stuff @ Auto zone for passing smog. Not sure if that did anything.
But,,, I had also changed my plugs, car & rotor that had 11,000 miles on them.
Took it back for testing & it passed.
What is you fuel pressure set @?
I know on my truck, If I set it too low like, 38psi it would have a lean miss causing it to fail, bumped it back up to 42-43 psi then it passed.
Make sure to tell them to really heat up the cat.(AKA)light off the cat.
They hold the RPM's to about 2000 RPM for about five minutes,,, then do there testing.
If you just want to know if your Truck is going to fail or pass, w/out the DMV being notified, turn your idle up to 1200 RPM, but @ least you will know your truck will pass or not
.
If it looks like it will pass just turn your idle back down. but keep it close to 1000 RPM.
