i'm so excited - just recorded my 1st DM file :boink: :boink: :boink:

... and i'm really interested if my engine does fine ?

mean, just took my TY out for a lil walkie in the evening-traffic, but a couple of WOTs ;)

please do me the BIG favour

thx, pat.

btw.: during the whole run the IC-pump was dead :squint:

Yeah you need to fix that IC pump.

Only thing I saw was that it appears a little lean @ WOT.
Also,is your TV cable adjusted correctly?

Re: who may analyse my file - pleeease ???

 first of all - a big thank you for taking time for my file

jepp, i know - i thougt the outside temps over here are round 8°C at the time so it can wait

... lean ??? FP set @ 47 psi !?!

or could there be another cause for running lean ?

TV cable will be re-adjusted tomorrow ;)

everthing else looks nice ?

will go out tomorrow for another WOT run to higher speed, may i ask you to analyse my file then

TIA,pat.

Have you upgraded the fuel pump? If it's stock it may not be able to keep up.

Yeah it all looked okay.Just a little sparkretard, probably from the stupid high intake temp.

Sure I'll check it out.

Re: who may analyse my file - pleeease ???

my setup so far : 255FP, FPR@47 psi, ATR coldair intake, 160*stat, ATRheaders+3"catback ... and i thought 47psi IS high :dunno:

i didn't see any sparkretard - oops

thx for looking to my future-file

btw: may you explain some of the kryptic items on the DM-form, such as e.g. "DRP occurred"

what tells the sparkadvance, the inj.DC ...

what happens when boost target is higher than boost - means the turbo is lazy ???

and i recogized its full-time closdloop - what do i have do the get openloop ???

need to be teached...
TIA,pat.

btw2.: is the an expaination trough all those labels ???

No clue

You would have to ask someone that is versed in the workings of the ECM.All of that is controlled by the ECM.

It's only in open loop until the engine warms up,then it goes to closed loop.

Re: who may analyse my file - pleeease ???

jimmy, thanks for ya honesty ;) and all the hints you gave me !!!

i'm pleased that my engine does not that bad *hehe*
have to do a lil "fine-tuning" and do another DMrun, and see what to find out ...

and you all are right : DM rules !!!
kinda cool stuff that software :git:

regards, pat.

Ya DM is pretty good, but Tunerpro with WB02 is better.

Get a freaking IC pump,Pat.

Re: who may analyse my file - pleeease ???

jimmy, havin already an upgraded ic-pump (plus hotwire) in, but the cable (or the connector) seems to be bad :squint:

but one Q is still on :

- what must happen that (if i read my file - e.g. REC #1271 - correct) my truck is running kinda real lean w/o load but under hard acceleration (WOT, TPS 100%) the "AFR" and "S term" does as it should ( 128 counts) and "O2 volts" = 828mV ???

anyone got a clue :dunno:

pat.

hated cuz he drives fords
Re: who may analyse my file - pleeease ???

Isn't the idle on the leaner side from the factory for emission reasons?

DRP = Distributor reference pulse. They should occur all the time.
The flag is there for code diagnosis, mostly. It flags entry into an interrupt handler for things based on engine speed. (Like the RPM calculation, for example)

what tells the sparkadvance, the inj.DC ...

Having a language translation problem here... There's an advance field (both commanded and real), and a calculated Injector DC. (ECM doesn't have an internal parameter for Injector DC)

what happens when boost target is higher than boost - means the turbo is lazy ???

Means one of a few things:

1) You're not using the stock WG setup.
2) You are using the stock setup, but there's a hose unplugged/not working.
3) Your WG rod isn't tight enough.

Stock system tries to achieve the target boost by modulating the WG solenoid. The actual boost is how close it is to actually doing it. :)

These 2 numbers will *never* be exactly the same. Best that I've seen is +/- .5 psi.

and i recogized its full-time closdloop - what do i have do the get openloop ???

You don't necessarily want open loop... when everything's working right, it'll remain closed loop most of the time. (Other than at WOT).
