My 1st launch with an AWD LT1 !!! WHOOOO YEAH!!

So I took the driveshaft off the Typhoon and put it on my Tyclone... hehe

I wanted to see what it felt like to launch it a bit... WHOOOO!!! I dont need no stinkin turbo!! WHOOOO!!!

I cant wait to get this thing done now!!

I also got in a bunch of my new goodies for the truck...
Bell tech Lowering keys, Bell tech 3" rear springs, clear corners and markers, all front end fastners, 3 gauge pod, Xtreme Blazer rear sway bar....

I went on a little open header joy ride! hehe

And one little launch!!

Uh nope... The Ty is donating its parts to the Jimmy... then the Ty is going in the trash. The Typhoon had a head on collision on the highway... the Jimmy is clean and dent/rust free... LS1 brakes, LT1, AWD, etc etc Soon to be Ty interior hehe

Gauge pod - Summit Racing
Lenses - LMC truck
Fastners - LMC Truck
Springs - Summit Racing
Sway bar - S10 Warehouse

You say that now because you just have to floor the gas pedal, but your whole outlook changes after driving a truck with a turbo :tup: . Everyone on this forum will agree.

Uhhh... No I want a V8 powered AWD truck... I love the turbo boost, but I want another V8 S10.

So do I need to post a resume just to show you guys that I WANT what I'm building? When Im done I will have more into it than a Typhoon because that is what I WANT.

I have driven many many SyTys... I have test driven more than I can count as I used to run the SyTy classifieds site back in the late 90s... . I have driven a Marlboro Sy, been in a few proto trucks, I have lived to tell the tale of riding in Jason Leach's Stokes Syclone back at his place...

I made a turbo joke. opppss... Thought I was kidding amongst friends. Sheesh.. Yes I love them too. Obviously I do if im on here... I love turbo V6s... I just want to built a LT1 AWD truck right now. Figured you guys were about the only people in the world who could relate to a fast little S10 thats AWD that cost me an arm and a leg. Shoot... I alreay have $6,807 into the truck and im not near quite done yet. It would have been alot easier to just buy a typhoon. lol

Yeah, there can be people here who will give you alot of crap, because it's not a V-6, but don't pay it no mind. Just build your truck and be happy with it. I'll give you crap for using a LT1 though

I really doubt when I ever end up building a motor it will be a V-6. It just doesn't make sence to me, how does a turbo LS1 sound instead :tup: Ohhh, but it's not a Syclone if it isn't a turbo V-6. It's hard enough to make these trucks really fast to begin with, why make it even harder. :roll:

In about 5 years I thinking about doing a twin turbo lS 2 build, why some may ask? Because I want to. Will it be done already by someone else? Yes, but who cares. Like you I will do it because that what I want to do. Enjoy your toy. I want to ask you if I can join your misfits? I already have a 1988 S10 shortbed to tub for big tires.The body rates a 9.8 out of 10, it just needs a new tailgate to be a 10.
