There is a show coming up in Plant City on December 16th. I know its getting pretty close to Christmas, but does anyone think they can make it? It would be nice to have a small Sy Ty showing, and meet some board members. This is the best (busiest) time of year for Plant CIty and Dade City shows, and there is usually more than 300 cars there. They block off some downtown streets and almost all the shops stay open with a few decent places to eat right there. Most people get there in the early afternoon, but I usually go around 4-5 pm and have no trouble finding a spot. If anyone wants to go we can try to save some spots and all park together. There is no cost involved- its all free. Post here if you think you can make it.

This would be a nice mini meet before the wrench in Miami.If I get my S#it going I'll go! Heads will be on next weekend and I have to tune it,,,,,,Should be enogh time.

Niether of our trucks will have our transmissions in them by then . My trans is in 2 pieces and his is in 200 pieces . My new paint job will look da bomb though .She will be in miami stuntin hard .

yea im out. tore my truck back apart, and adding some more goodies. for sure for the miami meet. bringing the new tow rig with mine and mikes sy on a trailer.

I look forward to anyone who can make it, its usually a good family time if you want to bring the wife and kids too.

I dont know if any of you have ever been there before, but I was thinking about parking towards the west side of the show. There is a large lot on the east side which fills up fast. There is a large lot on the southeast side and it fills up fast too. On the west there is a bank parking lot that is usually somewhat open, and there are a few small lots around it that have space too. There is still one lot further west too, so its not at the end. Here are some links to maps- I hope they work.

I am thinking to park where the yellow X is, the red outline is the whole show. I tried to add street names, but you may need to compare it to the real map to get there.

If I have enough time I might make a little posterboard of SyTy facts. With so many there (more than one) we may draw some attention. Last time I went not many people recognized my Ty as anything but an S-10.

I thought about letting the laptop play the syty movie over and over......Only while I'm stanigh close though.I think the poster board idea is neat.

I guess you could sit the laptop on the dash, and people could view through your windshield with your doors locked.
