yea theres nothing really special about them at all they just have a body kit and they are a little lower..

Yeah the Xtreme Blazers all have a 190 horse NA 4.3L. i bought one new back in 2001 and had ot for a year till it got totalled bymy putting it on the roof on the freeway, they run pretty good for what they are, but they are heavy, i had some bolts on on mine, a shift kit and 4.10 gears, and had it in the low 15's, and that was from low 17's stock.
Alot of the xtreme s10 trucks have the 2.2 four banger.

Yeah he was driving like he thought so. He never stood a chance though. At the light the first time I saw him I was back a car but to his left, him and his buddy looked like they were laughin at my broken foglight lens and wondering where I got that body kit.

Thats the part of these stories that I like to hear. :lol: Its the people that really have no clue that are my favorite. I like the extreme blazers though and I wouldnt mind having one as a daily driver. With an LSx engine of course though.TYTILIDIE said:

I heard some of the early Extremes came with a corvette motor.

None of the xtreme trucks or blazers ever came with a GN or Vette motor, the first year for the xtreme truck was 99 and xtreme blazer was 01, and the xtreme package was nothing more than a trim deal, just had the body kit and ZQ8 susopension and there own wheel design, you could get it with eitrher the 4 banger or 4.3 and either auto or 5 speed, now a reg cab 4.3 5 speed with some bolt ons and sone juice can run a mid 13, but still no match for a well tuned SyTy.
