Re: Finally have paint!

looks a lot better. spend some time aligning your front bumper and it'll look even better.

Re: Finally have paint!

looks great , like the gray. now you just gotta keep it out of that texas sun.... i think a cool little touch would be to paint the gmc on the grille the same color as the cladding , just my opinion.

That did turn out really nice, now fix your bumper. Are you leaving the stickers off of it?

It took me over 6 months after paint to decided I wanted decals
Nice truck man, I've been thinking about that scheme for my GT

Looks 100% better! Are you sure that is Platinum Gray though, it looks a little lighter than mine, more like the factory Argent color?

Re: Finally have paint!

Looks alot better.. i'd also suggest dumping the elephant ear mirrors for some typhoon ones and show that front bumper a few minutes of love

Looks great! Im with Jimmy & Renz...work on aligning the front bumper and the cladding and buy some new mirrors. I would also get SonomaGTlover to make you some cool decals. Something suttle. Maybe just black outline for the sides and gray outline for the back.

 nice....i agree with everyone else on the mickey mouse mirror. i would also do like someone suggested and paint the gmc in the grille gray too, i think that would look good.

Yeah I saw that when we picked it up. I don't think it's the front bumper though. When I took off that front right piece I saw a tab was kind of bent, so it seems that the bumper sticks out.

I think I'm just going to paint the red letters black. I should've thought of painting those letters when we first brought it in.

I thought it looked a little lighter than yours too. Maybe the brand was different. Nevertheless it turned out really good.
I think I'm going to leave the decals off for a while. I like the "naked" look of it. I don't know if I want to put the red ones on though, they might look weird on the gray cladding.

The biggest misalgniment in the front fender cladding. They front of them aren't suposed to fit flush against the fender. Most adjustment is the bolt on the front of the fender (you will need to pull th efront bumper cover, which is easy)

AGREED. my drivers side is pulled in to the fender so the alignment is all jacked up
