We've been through this before, go back through and reread what I've posted for you, all the answers are there. It doesn't matter if you go with a 17" 18" 19" 46" wheel if it's 9.5" wide the setup for backspacing is the same.

Most of those wheels were designed with BMW's in mind (trust me i've sold 3 of those five wheels before), IMO if you go with a 20mm offset all the way around the front will look weird. You need a high offset in the front ( search out 3 series BMW's they run high offsets ) the 20mm stuff is for 5, 6, and 7 series BMW's they all run medium offsets.

Re: what one should i go with?

Could i run 275x35x19 the over all diameater would be a little bigger. say 25.5 and 26.6 so i if i ewent with 275x35x19 would there be any bad things other then the ride. or do i need to stick to the close stock tir sixe. I know that the speed would be off some but will it hurt any thing ?

Re: what one should i go with?

No running that big wont physically hurt anything ( as long as they're all the same size ) I wouldn't recommend it because that is quite a bit bigger and you could run into some clearance issues. They might rub on the rear of the fender wells, the way the caster is setup on these vehicals the lower you get them the more they rub on the rear of the front fender wells. The front tires get pushed back and the rear tires get pushed forward. You might be fine ( I wouldn't go that much bigger ) but you might not with these already being lowered from the factory.

You want 19's then run a P275/30R-19, yeah that tire has a very small sidewall and will ride like crap, but that's the price you have to pay to be cool.

Oh and if you do go 19's please do something with the brakes because our nice stock 10" brakes will look stupid behind that big of a wheel, at a bare minimum do a C5 upgrade.

none of the above, they are all pretty ugly, sorry.

Kinda like having to choose the fat one, the ugly one or the one with Downs Syndrome so I guess #1 or #4. But hay, there is always castration?

Re: Vote to help me deside!

OK last question, well maybe more to come about other things.
19x9.5 20mm offset for the rear

19x9.95 45mm offset for the front

275x30x19 tires on all 4

Will i need spacers at all for this setup? If so what size for the front and the rear?

Re: Vote to help me deside!

20mm won't work in the rear on a 9.5 without about 3/8" protrusion outside the fender. I have 9" rims with an 18mm offset and they protrude about 1/8", and you'd be adding another 1/4" on top of that

similarly, 45mm is not enough for the front either. running 9" rims at a 52mm offsett I am protruding about 1/16" ... so, add 1/4" of width to the outside and then move them 9mm out... you've got almost 1/2" of tire hanging out up front

Re: Vote to help me deside!

I must not be grasping the offset thing to well i am trying to figure it out. This is why all the questions.
So let's say i go with 19x9.5 inch rims what is the off set i need to get it to work right? What i was thinking is 45mm up front with a 15mm spacer, and 20mm offset in rear with none or 10mm spacer. ? Am i still not getting this. HELP my brain hurts.

Re: Vote to help me deside!

No, to elaberate on what J is telling you the 45mm front isn't a high enough offset, you need to get more of the wheel under the truck, not push it out with a spacer. Like I said before these wheels where designed with BMW's in mind. The 3 series is the only one that runs a high offset wheel, they don't run that wide of a wheel in the front, so your looking at wheels for the rear, they don't need a 50+ offset so it's going to be hard to find a perfect fit since they didn't have S series trucks in mind when they designed these wheels.

You don't need spacers with this setup. Picture this, you need to take those wheels and sand down the center area where it bolt up to the hub approx. 10mm ( or about a 1/2" ) on the front and about 30mm on the rear ( or about 1 1/4" ) see the problem. With those width wheels you don't need spacers you need them way way way under the truck, so they don't stick out.

Remember if was easy or cheap everyone would do it, keep searching

Oh and no you probably don't want to have those wheels machined down because they engineer them with a certain amount of structural integrity for that center thickness, you take that away and now have 3 piece wheels and not in a good way :)

so 45mm front will not work what size would i need for the front and back.
to run 9.5" wheels you need 56mm in front and 26mm in the rear... so a set of 56mm offset wheels with 1.25" spacers in back will work

I did a lot of searching to find wheels in the right offset to fit my truck, took me like 5 months to find some I liked
