stage 1 rpm. whats it worth

Now that I am replacing my trans and converter I can go up to a bigger turbo. Thinking a stage 2 or 3 because I am getting a 3"stock dp. If I sell my stage 1 what is it worth. It only has 100 miles on it. The first 20 miles I stayed off boost to let it break in a bit. It spools great with a stock tc and the wategate is awsome. Looks nice too. If anyone is interested I am not selling yet but just seeing how much of a loss I will have to upgrde to a larger turbo. Thanks

Again its not for sale. Just want to see how much someone would pay for it. 750-800??? Not sure what its worth slightly used.

I have the stage 3 and I can vouch, these turbos spool up quick and has better than stock boost control, for using the stock dp.

I think I would be more concerned about that bottom end holding up then going big turbo. I can see it already " Hey guys I just got the RPM stage 3 turbo and now I need a bowtie block. "

I'd run the one you have and see what you get I'm sure it will plenty for now once you get it tuned and alky running.

What's the most boost you ever got to run with it? I'm sure you haven't unlocked the full potential of that turbo yet :tup:

To be honest with you that thought never crossed my mind :no:

You also need to be thinking about the rear end, you might be needing one of those in the near future also. Isn't this awsome how it never ends, you constantly having to buy something :roll:

WHOA, yuck!!! Dammit, now you are making me postpone my build to REBUILD the bottom, UHHHHHH .... I thought a 65k bottom end would be fine with 500 hp!!! .... geez ---

I'd step up to a slightly larger turbo while still keeping in mind you drive this thing on the street more then the track... Only reason why I say this is why spend the countless hours tuning with your built motor and slight upgrade of a turbo and then decide with your build your running out of turbo then upgrade and have to totally re tune all over again. I might be looking at this all wrong or something i'm tired but that's what came to mind when reading thru this thread.

Probably $700-$800 for the used stage 1...by the way go bigger I'd say a gt35 dual bb should be in your near future. I'd like to buy that used stage 1

Personally, If you have a built bottom end, you'll be defeating the purpose of using a bolt-on turbo with the stock DP.

DP is a 3" for Stock setups. I have seen guys run bigger turbos on stock engines and I have seen guys blow up engines with stock turbos.
Its a great turbo, but if I can sell for 750$ and spend 1k for a stage 3 I would do it. Even a stage 3 is not that large of a turbo. I drive my truck on weekends and to the track (some day).
