How to create forum?

So let's say I was interested in creating a forum/BB like this for work (not car related). Who, or what company would I contact and what are the costs involved?

I use lunapages.com as a hosting service, and they have an installer that will install the BB software for you. About all you need to do from there is create your individual forum topics and add users. $6.95/month.

I'm sure there are other hosting services that have similar setups, also.
