How to fix broken cladding?

I noticed my cladding has broken

The problem is, on the inside one of the tabs broke off. However, the part that broke off is long gone. Using some of that plastic-metal bonding glue suggested in the other thread, could I re-make the cladding tab using metal bonded to the plastic? Would it be strong enough?

I need to fix my poor Ty

I used pvc primer & pvc cement worked AWSOME!! takes A little while to dry, but will not break agin.

Has anyone else used this to repair broken tabs?
