fun day all in all. after talking to bob http://www.bigtimeauto.com/ and bill http://www.secondstreetspeed.com/index.htm we came to the thought 500rwhp is fine for a very safe rich street tune, lets just go to the track have some fun and if the 103k mile rears, transfercase, stock axles and 700 "waller trans" dont break we can go back for a real race tune. i agree. i have had this ty for so long and it has been 4-5 years since i was able to make a full pass, the plan is when i get back from my trip to va and ga this coming week to make time next week to stop down the track and get a couple runs in.
this was the street tune on pump gas "93oct" street tune very little timing and 23psi. alky only made a additional 11rwhp when on so we just used it on the smallest gain setting on 1 to cool intake temps since we are not ready for the race tune yet. i would like to think full race tune 600rwhp should be something to shot for. then the upgrades will begin on drive line parts if i keep it.
note....as you can see in the vid the ic hose is going to need to be modded to stay on at this power.
