Seems like this is getting to be an annual event for me

Time for a poll about if my truck will be done in time for Jimmy's BBQ meet

The Ty will be there 100% certain if I am (which is about 95% sure)

Will I be able to finish the GT in time? All I have left at this point is exhaust, brake lines, reinstalling a whole pile of sheetmetal and then repainting it. In theory, I will have about 45 hours in which to complete this work.

So will it be done :dunno:

You will be held up by a handful of small items costing total $20 but will take weeks to locate or arrive. That is what always happens to me, the small details and parts kill me...

I dont think you can resist driving the saab :rotf: :rotf:
I'll admit, it is a fun car to drive, but somehow it looked a little out of it's element at the last BBQ ;) ... I'm shooting to have two trucks down this year, probably going to end up driving the GT without having painted it (still in primer anyone  ) but the Ty is ready to roll unless my garage burns down or something similar

my dad will most likely be coming..

As to paint work... the Ty was done by a place called Kustom Kars up in Derry NH, this truck is having a few pieces done there but I'm going to be painting it myself (wish there was a knock on wood smiley)

Hey not sure how experienced you are at the painting deal, but if you need any help at all just pm me, I can answer any questions you have. I've been painting since I was 13 (no wonder all my brain cells are gone already :D ) was a full time painter for a few years, and now run a small shop on the side (my user title) I have gotten a few awards for my work as well. Just figured the more help the better on a project like that, so let me know! Good luck.
