Im not really seeing the need of that product? Im not doubting JEGs at all, they rock... but I see you trying to find a breaking point in a large gauge wire for siimplicity??

Id use a bolt, locking washer, and nut. Thats just me.... maybe I missed something.

because a bolt, washer and nut on the hot side will go sparky sparky all over the place.

My junction will be under the truck along the frame rail to allow a more central distribution for things that need a 12V source (amps, fuel pump relay, etc...)

I'm tired of making runs from the front of the truck, my engine bay is getting cluttered with wires and loom.

My motto's are simplicity, organization, ease of use and accessibility.

dont know the part number off hand but the gm version is like $7 from the dealer

any salvage yard, 99% of the time they wont charge you every GM car from 91 and up has at least one of them

Nap has them too. Can't remember the Pn, just tellthem to pull out the electrical book and flipt through it. Bought one last year for $8.95.

go to a junk yard and you can fin them on 78 body style pick ups on the center of the firewall

Buy a distribution block like they use for car audio. Pep Boys has them for like $10.
