anyone know what size turbo I have pics and info

my dad told me that it was some type of garrett 950cfm turbo but nether me nor him can remember anything so i diceded to ask you guys , I think it might even be 850cfm


the turbo says A/R .60 M24 which means its some type of GT28R turbo , but I saw a few GT28R turbos on the garret websight so im not sure which one it is. heres a link

If you know which one it is then can you tell me what kind of HP and E.T ill be running?

oh and since I asked that then youll need to know it also has a bigger intercooler , 3'' downpipe kit, wastegate , battery relocation kit , 2800 stall converter ,full 3'' ATR exhaust and high flow CAT, air inlet kit , cold air intake kit , forged pistons , ported/polished heads , felpro CPU , mild cam , and 80lb indjectors(sp). it was also a full turbo kit and not just a turbo so it came with everything a turbo kit has. I know it has a few other things but I forget what they are since my memmory is so bad.

I doubt highly it's a GT28R. Could be a TE-44. Possibly a TE-63. Likely the 63, given the combo of parts.

As for how fast, The 44 is capable of mid 11s, the 63 would be capable of low 11s maybe high 10s.

This would be in a well-running, well-tuned truck. Looks like you're a fair distance away from that...

really ? I read that I thought that presision made the TE44 and TE63(im probily wrong though :lol: ).

and its not a well tuned truck , infact its not tuned at all . But it will be soon.....hopefully :lol:


edit- I forgot to mention that the parts were bought atleast 7 years ago , maybe that will help a bit

It looks like the ATR turbo/downpipe kit. I'd agree with Dig on the TE63, given the mods and the comment made about 950cfm.

look at the numbers on the housing. just google search through all the different sets and one will come up with something.

It looks like the ATR turbo/downpipe kit. I'd agree with Dig on the TE63, given the mods and the comment made about 950cfm.

I was only told it was 950 cfm in not so sure anymore . and yea , it is a ATR turbo kit.

look at the numbers on the housing. just google search through all the different sets and one will come up with something.

post all the numbes you see on the housing. They're all around the fron of it. at least 2 or 3 sets.
