Ok, last year a few of us golfed before and after nats. Looks like the plan is going to be 18 holes Thursday evening and then another 18 Sunday after the awards ceremony. Anyone new want to join this year?

sounds good, i'm pretty sure Jim and Zach will want to play as well. Not sure if they can both make both days though....Have to wait and see

I might be in for Sunday. Depends if the others I'm coming out with want to hang around. Not sure if they play golf or not.

I thought it was $5 / hole?!? If i flew out wed. night could i crash on a local KS person's floor/couch?

If you are flying out weds you are more than welcome to crash on my floor. Just remember I have two youngins in the house....Julie says you can have the room with the fishes

I would be down for sunday possibly thursday. Just started playing though with some hand-me down clubs and a wal-mart driver, but the shitty clubs compliment my game very well.

Im def. game for Sunday. I spoke with Renz and told him he could crash at my place as well. Tyrod and Sullivan are planning on showing up wednesday night... Sullivan thinks he can't make it, I think he needs to stop smoking that Peyote down there.

ok i just got my airfare.

I arrive wednesday night at 11:22pm, making thursday golfing possible.
I depart sunday evening at 5:25pm, making sunday golfing possible.

It cost me $70 more in airfare, so we better play on thursday AND sunday :rotf:

I will be down for Thursday depending on when I get into KC and how much work my Ty still needs to get it off the trailer. lol

I will skip Sunday, I have to get on the road fairly early. Driving home unloading and going back to work on morning will suck. always does.

So is there a budget I'm searching for? There are tons of courses in the area. No one wants to be at a goat farm, but I think the highest greenfee you might see is 70 bucks. And that would be for the nicest course in town....
Give me some thoughts so I can make arrangements...

$75 is the most i ever spend. So keep it below that and i'm good. I'd also like to play different courses on thurs/sun.

Ok, here are the two courses i'm thinking would be fun

They are both relatively close, have some challenges and are under the budget of $75.
Deer creek is on metcalf and 127th so it would make more sense to play there sunday. Quick access to hotel and applebys
Sycamore is about 20 min from the hotel and should be at the twilight rate.
I'm going to set back to back tee times of 4 and 4 so we should all be able to stay together as a group.
What is the preference on time for thursday?
Jason, what time are you plannin on getting in?
How does this sound to those interested?
