Best suspension mod Ive done so far.

The other day I was walking through the junk yard looking for a ALT voltage reg wire harness and after I found I happened to walk by a 95 Blazer and spotted the rear sway bar. Today I had some time and went down and picked it up. Took me about 15 minutes to get off(I only had a wrench). I paid $8 for it with the mounting hardware. Went to Autozone and picked up a universal sway bar link kit (4"). Went home, cleaned the bar up some and bolted it on. Ofcourse I had to drill a couple holes for the links but that took a woppin 10 minutes. All in all, it took me about an hour to install the whole thing. I took it for a drive and WOW!!! what a difference this makes. Cant wait to get my ZQ8 box, it can only get better form here, Ive been trying to do some suspension stuff cause mine is really going dwon hill. Anyway, awsome mod, dont know why I ever waited this long to do it.

I agree. The rear swaybar (although mine is a belltech) was one of the best mods I ever did to the truck, F1 cars aint got sh!t on me :woot:

Mike - Do you have any pictures of this or the "universal sway bar link kit (4")". ? I was looking at one on a Blazer yesterday and it looks like they have the mouting point welded to the frame. The axel was already removed so I am not sure how it all mounts up...

Thanks

Hey Aaron, its super easy. I do not have pics right now but could take some for ya next time iM under the truck. First off, the universal joints are from Autozone. Ill post up the part # later. You put the u-bolts through the back side of the axle. Its self explanitory from there. Once its all in, you have to drill your holes in the frame from the sway bar links. I can do a write up on it next week if anyone wants. Ican take it off , snap pics, then put it all back together and take pics as I go.
