Interest............

Seeing if there is any interest for me to produce tubular front and rear bumper supports, these would be made from chromoly tubing and utilize all factory mouting points lights etc.., They would obviously be for someone who was looking to shed weight and not concerned with the safety effect of the the original piece, just gauging some interest

Re: Interest............

I would be interested but it all comes down to price.

I know of two tubular ones for sale right now that the price is just absurd. I could buy a whole new top half of my motor for what the guy wants.

They will only sell as good as the price is.

The one displayed in the pic is mine. Keep in mind that this one is mounted on a reinforced fiberglass bumper cover for Paul's Select. Our original plastic covers are very flimisy and will distort between the mounting points. The original supports have have an edge that supports the out side edges and other parts of our orginal cover.

Re: Interest............

I'm pretty sure that looks quite a bit stronger than the stock front bumper support  ... I know mine got absolutely mangled when it was in an accident a few years ago

Re: Interest............

Ok further research looks like for right now between materials, profit, aggravation would be around $400 for the front support, not sure on weight savings just yet have to play around with ideas, my guess would be around $700 ish for the front and rear, i would also put together a GP if people have that much of an interest

thanks John S

Re: Interest............

I need a rear one....mine got mangled something fierce in the *we dont speak of* a while ago. And I dont care about the safety portion of it, I just want my roll pan thingy to look right again.

Re: Interest............

I wasn't even aware of a rear support. I thought the roll pans just attached like the aftermarkets did. If there's a support back there....i'm in the same boat with the Syclone I just picked up....it's all tucked under the truck....lol
