Surströmming ("soured (Baltic) herring") is a northern Swedish delicacy consisting of fermented Baltic herring. Surströmming is sold in cans, which when opened release a STRONG SMELL. Because of the smell, the dish is often eaten outdoors. However, opening the can under water somewhat lessens the smell, as well as keeping the person opening it from getting soaked in brine, as the fermentation often builds up a considerable pressure inside the can.

OMG the video just doesn't do it justice. The sequel rivaled the original. The Surstromming spayed up a mist about about 10-15 feet in the air and was landing on cars and people 6-8 feet away. The reason why the camera went blank is because everyone ran. Vinny took the brunt of the spray as did Roy brothers truck & Bike. Roy's brother was a good sport about it but I don't think he was that pleased. Their were a few of us who took showers shortly after. (I hope my Mr.Syclone Bad Ass T-shirt can be save)

I wish someone had gotten video of Vinny walk through the conference area to take a shower. Their were multiple black tie events that were going on. Vinny told had a wonderful story of the peole reaction. Boy did he stink.

Who else got sprayed? I know I did, as did you and Vinny. I know there is more out there...
Someone has to have a better video of this. I was taking a video less than 5' away from him, but for some reason I can't find in on my camera though :dunno:.

I think their must have been other as well. From my view (and probably yours since we were next to easch other), their was a lot of liquid in the air that I saw as I looked into the light, I initially didn't think I really got spray all that much until I notice my arm had a mist on it and my shorts were wet.
I am pretty sure Renz made a good video of it with Dabney's camera.
