Front = 245/40R-18
Rear = 275/35R-18

or

Front = 235/40R-18
Rear = 265/35R-18

Have Steven double check my numbers, I've been out of the tire game for years now and there might be new sizes I'm not aware of but either of these setups should work.

I checked the specs on the Kumho Ecsta MX tires at Tirerack and Black Knight was right - I can probably get away with the 245/40/18s up front on the 8" rim and 275/35/18s on the 9" rear rim. There is a .1" height difference between these sizes...will this be OK on the t-case?

Oh yeah your OK, 0.1" is like 2.5 mm, thats nothing, your tire pressure or unevenly worn tires can cause more then that. :tup:

Or reuse your 265's which are still newer if i'm not mistaken, right? Then just buy two 235's for the front. :cool:

Good point. Maybe I'll just get the skinny 235s for the front and reuse two of my existing (new) 265s on the rears. Then, when I wear those all out, switch over to the wider combo. Thanks for all the help brotha :tup:

Looks like I missed a lot today. School is a killer. Those sizes look correct to me. I'd be partial to the 245's and 275's. I just wouldn't want to run a skinnier tire than the truck came with from the factory. I just prefer wider tires. It's all about whether you like them that much or not. Personally, I'd want to find 9's or 9.5's up front and something similar or slightly wider for the rear. Either way, lemmie know what you end up doin.

I suggest you go with the 245's and 275's. If you want a really good tire, that's not too too pricey, I suggest the Toyo T1-R or Falken Azenis RT-615. We can do you pretty good on either of those.

Those Falken Azenis RT's look badass!!!!!!!! Would look good on those wheels too. I want something like that, but for a Daily driver it wouldn't be too good huh? Plus, it rains a lot here. Thinking about the BFG's KDW.

Oh yea, those 615's are baaddd. They wouldn't be all that great in the rain though, but you'd lovin' em in the dry. I like the KDW's, but the Toyo T1-Rs would still probably be better, cost wise, and even in the rain. I love both of them.

::Edit:: Do the toyos even come in a 245/50/16? I just looked and didn't see any?

Their website is not showing any for some reason, I just looked them up the other day. Must be the crack I'm smoking. I guess Toyo isn't in the business to make money any more so no they don't sell a 245/50R-16 any more even though they used to have 3 options.

That does suck, THe RA-1's IMO are the best tire on the market as far as performance on the street/auto-x/track

Not yet. The rims are still in boxes. I just blew my 2nd turbo and am working on swapping in a built race motor and GTQ67 BB turbo. I still plan to put those rims on and see if I like them...it's just going to be a while.

Wanna sell them? I'm dying to see them as I think they look better than anything I have yet seen. can you either sell me those or tell me the specs?
