That's a neat idea but why didn't you just use a Marine intake for the Vortec 4.3L? It would have been much less work and money with the same result.

At the time I had the 2114 made, the marine unit was not available.I have less invested in what you see that the cost of the marine intake. PEACE OUT>Tony

and like that.. the turbo S10 forum guys show up. What us S10 guys lack in AWD and awesome looking cladding we make up for in inovation.. or just spin 2 tires.. its one or the other.

everyone knows there comes a time when the AWD hurts more than helps. for now i just spin my tire, since only one spins :lol: i need a posi

I have a posi.. but i got a funny feeling i'll be picking pieces of it up soon enough. What i don't have.. err.. won't have soon is A/C.. Jumping Jesus i don't think that turbo is going to fit with my AC.. and if it clears the compressor its going to put the DP into the condenser/etc... I think its time to toss i the gloves strip it bare and make it pretty under there. I'm even thinking about sending out the plenum to be polished.

exactly lol..see the S10 guys don't really have any single peice of the truck were not willing to mod without thinking twice because its all mass produced stock crap.. (except vortec heads :tup: ) Still mass produced but you get the point lol.

I bought a billet dist. made by accel to replace the stock one. Don't see why it won't work for the sy/ty intake. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the newer S10's have side post distributor caps.

I have no idea if they fit your distributor, though.
