These cranks ARE NOT FORGED OR 4340. The rods only, are 4340. The cranks are stock, offset ground cranks to achieve the "stroke". I would not recommend these for our builds unless you are doing a forced rebuild and need a complete rotating assy., are not going to turn past 4800 rpm or so and are not going to exceed 450 hp or so. Offset grinding will work (up to a point) but it weakens a crank if not done correctly and is the "poor mans" way. Also please be aware that IMO this "3.55" is about maxed for an offset grind and is not worth the cost, the weakening to the crank or the trouble if there is a problem and your new engine lets go for a total of about 5 cubic inches!

Save your money and do it right or save a lot of money and just send your crank in for cryo and 4 bolt the mains. The problem for the average SyTy'r is not making power...... it's keeping it alive.
