yes there was, he wanted $25+ for a print which is absurd.. I refused to buy from him.. My girlfriend on the other hand bought the picture from him for me for my birthday.

$25 for him to print a digital image and mail it is rape. :rant:

I wasnt racing so i wasnt able to get any pics of my truck launching, i agree the price sounds high, but try hiring a photographer for the day with the rights to all the pics he/she takes. I bet you find that to be more expensive than $25 a piece. You got to preview the end product before having to commit to buying it. The pics of the track day that i saw were very nice i thought. You figure the guy was out in the heat with us all day, used his own equipment and time, it has to be worth it for him to even make the trip.

2) he refused to email me the digital image even though my gf paid the $25 to have it printed

If he emailed me the image, I wouldn't care.

How big was the $25 print? Try buying one at an NHRA event for cheaper, not going to happen.

8x10, glossy paper, printed from a local place or shutterfly.com, decent quality..

HE pays thwe track to be there they get a cut of every pic he sells, Im looking into having a buddy of mine there for this year he shoots pics for dealer brochures for a living and has some 8k camera, best part is he works for beer and food

woohoo, get him to come!

If he can't make it I've bought quite a bit of camera accessories for my Nikon dSLR including a zoom lens and nice tripod w/ remote triggering I could set up by the tree.

cool, like i said if I was given the digital image so that I can reproduce a print and use it however I want I wouldn't have had a problem paying the $25.

of course, who knows if i'll be able to go to homecoming this year.

Well as of right now it is not 100% it will be held on the 20th. & the 21st. of June. But not 100%. about 90% sure.

Friday the 20th is meet and greet as usual in the parking lot.
Saturday the 21st (Car show at Truck and Trailer Unlimited again, and hopefully the track as soon as we hear back!)
Sunday is Goodbyes (no real big events planned as most people will be leaving in the morning)

got it i should have checked the dates for some reason i thought it was sat and sunday not fri and sat. the two days make sense now.
