Sorry you guys haven't heard from me in awhile. I have just been trying to stay busy. I can't believe it will be a year the 26th of this month. I thought I couldn't make it a day without Dave, and I have. I couldn't have done it without all the love and support from this board. I still miss him, I still cry and the pain is still very real. His clothes and shoes are still in the same place, just waiting for him to walk through the door.


Thanks again for everything you done for me in his honor. He will forever be loved and missed.

Lisa,

I don't have to tell you over and over that you still have lots of family left right here.
We all miss Dave and I am sure not to the same extent as you do, but know that he lives on inside each of us.
Not too mention he has touched parts in MANY of our trucks.

I hope you can make a SyTy event or 2 next year, maybe even bring out the ol' mythical Myclone.

I knew it was coming, just couldn't remember the date. I think Jason and Darron have pretty much covered it. Not sure I can say it any better.

wow, i didnt even realize i have been on this board a year yet.

one day i will own a truck that has a piece of Myclone in it.

even though it is hard to do, just live your life.. he lives inside you!

If I have a private message when I log on the board, I always read it first. I still have the PM from Mike Renz telling me the bad news. Even reading it almost a year later still brings back those feelings of shock and disbelief...

I know that Lisa keeps in contact with a few folks on here regular. Please keep us informed on how you are doing. Like it or not, you will ALWAYS be part of the syty family. Dave TRULY was a blessing considering how many friends he made in the short time that he was with us. Comfort only comes from knowing that he is in a better place now.

Dave was a great guy and a great friend to many. I only had the chance to meet him in person once, but could tell he was a genuinely good and honest person. He is missed by us all.

Glad to hear you are keeping your chin up.

Even a year later, myclone is still in the Top 10 for biggest post count. Just shows you the impact he had and how much he was involved in this community.

Lisa, so good to see you posting. :) We miss hearing from you.......please be more regular if you can. Although this years Nats are pushed back a year, I'm sure all of us expect to see you there when it occurs.
I remember the comfort I used to find in Greta's clothes and items. For each of us there comes ,at different times/points......when ones sanity/stability is challenged due to these stimulus items....and one must choose the memories of love,laughter and past joys to take over the material items instead. It seemed to take me about the 2nd-3rd year if I recall correctly.
When I only left up pix of joy moments...it began to help me cope better. I also reminded myself that this person was fully in my heart and memories and needn't be in picture frames and items all around me and in every room.
But firstly.....the biggest mistake I made ,bar none, was not counciling with others and staying in touch with those that love you.
This is my 4rth year. Your second. You feel free to contact me anytime you need about whatever ! We may just have something to chew the fat about.

yea i still think about this frequently, and also think of you Lisa and wonder how you're doing. Unfortunately for me, this date is all to easy to remember since its also my fathers birthday.

Lisa, I'd love to see you make it to more SyTy meets. I'll even take you out to watch me overeat again!

Honestly I think of him pretty often also. His death has taught me a LOT of lifes lessons. I am glad to see you have posted. I wish you the best in 08' ---

Lisa, your in my thoughts and prayers. The other day I was going to contribute to a post something Dave told me. It made me sad and I reflected on it for a few minutes. I ended up not posting it. I hope you holding up.

He will live on forever in what he has taught others along with what he has written. His words will never be forgotten and the icon of Myclone will remain forever.
