Decision time: sell or no sell?

Well, while my friends in the undercar class were replacing the oil filter lines, they noticed something startling about my Ty: The frame is wavy. On the drivers side the frame is wavy and out of shape, so much so that they couldn't use the specified lift point. I also noticed that the roof had been replaced, which all adds up to a rollover at some point.

My question is: Should I keep my truck, and hope nothing bad happens as a result of these quirks, or should I sell it from a safety standpoint? I love the truck to death, but if the integrity of the vehicle is compromised, I would start looking. Any one have any expierence with ex-accident trucks?

You cant worry about a future would-be accident compromising that repair . If it looks decent , let it be .

Now if it looks like crap ,then you sell the crap .But otherwise , whos crawling under your truck anyway ?

I think the way things are going, I will end up keeping it, since it hasn't had any problems so far, and I don't think Don had any issues with it. Truck is getting fixed up when I get a chance, namely filling the roof seam and rust/paint.

wow that sucks i never knew drives straight and was the only ty never to have any issues so i was never under it. i would keep it and dive and like said above swap frames, dennis and i picked up a frame for his project and i think it was like 100 or 150. should not be to hard of a job. couple buddys or a lift should do it if you empty it out.
